Alltwen’s 100% league record fell at Cefn Cribwr on a day marred by injury and disappointment.

After taking a 6-0 lead through two penalty goals by scrum half Jason Richards, Alltwen’s progress was ground to an eventual halt by a dominant home side front five that denied the Alltwen back’s sufficient sight of the ball.

Despite a brave effort ,a difficult day took a turn for the worse when a freak accident resulted in a serious shoulder injury to Alltwen captain Daniel Madge.

Everybody wishes Dan the best with his recovery and thoughts must now turn towards a positive return to winning ways at home to Cwmtwrch Saturday  22^nd KO 2:30
