Alltwen’s 2017/18 season kick-starts with a visit to Baglan on Saturday 9th September .
Whilst the season should have commenced as it concluded last year with a game against fellow promotees Ogmore Vale, a request from the opposition to defer the game due to a wedding was accepted by Alltwen RFC.
Meantime Baglan were able to open their season with a convincing away win at Crynant. But Alltwen will also be buoyed by an encouraging and well deserved win at Cwmllynfell in a pre-season August friendly.
So somebody’s unbeaten record has to go. Let’s hope it’s Baglan’s.
